Joe Lieberman denounces 'Grand Theft Auto' video game. "Too hard to play, and not always responsive to the joystick, dude. They just don't make games like Defender-Stargate any more."

Pope says TV sucks. Say, he IS infallible! In a message released to the Catholic faithful, he declared, "We oppose all cynical comedies, except for that episode of Seinfeld where George joined the Latvian Orthodox Church - that kicked ass"

Despite the obnoxious sound track, this is actually kind of cool. Does Erik Estrada turn you on? You'd be surprised.

Rings, Translation win Golden Globes. Complete list. My thoughts: no special remarks except for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical. Nothing against Bill Murray, but that movie is essentially a drama, and he played what was essentially a serious part with a few one-liners. On the other hand, Johnny Depp turned in a performance that instantly became part of screen legend, and was actually funny. Murray was terrific, but the wrong guy won. Lost in Translation also won best comedy or musical, and it is really neither.

Did you know - Wal-Mart will only allow you to buy four camera batteries at a time? It is their contribution to the war on drugs. I didn't make up one word of that, honest. Pretty interesting story.

Sundance sets. Writer picks best and worsts. He chose Zooey Deschanel as most down to earth. Last year, after the premiere of All the Real Girls, Zooey and the rest of the cast were riding the public shuttle busses back to their next adventure. Nobody seemed to recognize either Zooey or Paul Schneider, the stars of the movie! Zooey's dad, by the way, is one of the greatest cinematographers in the world, and recently did that Mel Gibson Jesus movie.

I don't think you'll see this video on MTV. Air's Cherry Blossom Girl, directed by cult porn director Kris Kramski. There has always been a loose connection between pop and porn, but this tightens up the link a bit. Oh, it has nudity. Unfortunately, it also has wimp-rock and a boring video.

Blockbuster sued for porn on PG movie. Get this - they claim that their four year old was exposed to porn that started after the credits. So let me see if I understand this - their four year old, a pre-reader, sat through the entire four minutes of credits, and was still glued to the set when the porn began. Yeah, that could happen. Ah yes, the ol' put a cockroach in the bottle and sue Pepsi trick, I know it well.
