A clip from "Saved". This movie has gotten some decent buzz, but this clip didn't impress me.

The trailer for Maria Full of Grace : "HBO Films and Fine Line Features present the Sundance and Berlin Film Festival award winner. A bright, spirited 17-year old, Maria Alvarez (Catalina Sandino Moreno) lives with three generations of her family in a cramped house in rural Colombia and works stripping thorns from flowers in a rose plantation. Could The Day After Tomorrow Really Happen? Yes, of course, some elements of it will happen. Earth has gone through several Ice Ages of varying severity. There will be several more before our Sun is dead. Chances are that men will still be on the planet when the next one occurs, if we don't find a faster way to kill ourselves off. The key questions are (1) "how soon is such a thing likely to occur?", and (2) "how quickly will the changes actually happen?", and (3) "to what extent can mankind accelerate, decelerate, or prevent the onset of the next Ice Age?". The movie does not pretend to give rational answers to those questions. It is fiction.

Bin Laden not running al-Qaida any more. They are hunting for a new CEO as we speak. The pay isn't that sweet, but it comes with a company camel and a cave allowance. Personally, I think al-Qaeda is being run by Rance.

California Bill Would Bar Smoking In Cars With Kids. Yes. Let's quadruple the police forces so we can get these criminals under control. Then let's add lots more courts and judges to handle these cases. After all, California is rolling in spare dough and just doesn't know where to spend all that money.
