Remember, there's no "D" in Ohio. Browns score 35 in the second half - and lose!!! Cleveland's QB went 30 for 39 for 413 yards and 5 TDs - and lost 58-48, as Cincy's Rudy Johnson rushed for 200+. It was a wild one. The Browns were down by two TD's, 34-20, then came back to take a 48-44 lead, but the Bengals then put up two more TDs to win it. Their combined 106 points was the most scored in a game since the AFL-NFL merger nearly 40 years ago.

Mike Nichols says there was a Portman topless scene in Closer, he cut it, and it will definitely NOT be on the DVD: "There were two seconds of film where you saw her topless. She opened her shirt and that was it, but now that moment has taken on a life of its own. I've heard that you can see the footage online, which is not true. The truth is I had a deal with Natalie. Basically I said, 'It's your body. You decide if the two seconds are in the film.' It was not my call because it's her body. Natalie said, 'I don't want to be walking down the street and see a guy who has seen my tits.' So I took it out." (Nichols also insists that the topless scene will not be on the DVD version.)

Thanksgiving Weekend Box Office: a disaster for Alexander. It opened in 6th position, behind Tim Allen's crappy Christmas movie and four holdovers. The other big story of the week - the Incredibles, now in its fourth week, actually moved up one place, from third to second. As "fourth weekends" go, it was the fourth best of all time, and the only ones ahead of it are the super heavyweights: Titanic, Spidey 2, and The Phantom Menace, all of which eventually exceeded $400 million.

The first look at the trailer from Fabled "One can expect darkness and density from a film that opens with a quote from Kafka ('a belief is like a guillotine, just as heavy, just as light'), and first-time writer/director Ari Kirschenbaum delivers both in this 2002-made psycho-brooder."
