65% of Children Have Imaginary Friends. That means twenty eight of the American Presidents had imaginary friends when they were children. Only one American President, Gerald Ford, had imaginary friends as an adult. Richard Nixon dealt with many imaginary people, but they all hated his guts just as much as real people.

Barbra Streisand slams impotence adverts. If you really want impotence, she can help you much faster! Oh, wait. That headline should read "Barbra Streisand slams anti-impotence adverts". I guess you can't make a lot of money selling impotence.

Samsung Corporation has won the contract to build the world's tallest building, the Burj Tower in Dubai. It will be the tallest by far. The current record is a "mere" 1600 feet, and this one will be 2600 - that's a half mile!

Here's the trailer for Robots: "Twentieth Century Fox and Academy Award winning director Chris Wedge, who last joined forces on the blockbuster animated hit 'Ice Age,' now team to create another visually spectacular, three-dimensional world, with an all-star, award-winning cast, in 'Robots'. Beyond the scope, freshness and vibrancy of an incredible world populated solely by mechanical beings, Wedge and his team are creating memorable robots, each with 'his' / 'her' own distinct personality. The result is a timeless tale that pushes the boundaries of animation, while introducing characters rich with whimsy, heart and soul."

Place The State. I got every state on its actual shadow except Delaware, although three of my placements barely touched the shadow. My average error was 11 miles, and it gave me credit for 46/50.

The trailer for CASSHERN. Live action sci-fi movie based on a 1973 anime of the same name. Absolutely one of the most impressive looking films I have ever seen, but those who have seen it say it seems to have forgotten some little details like plot, pacing, and characterization.

Children banned from Mary Poppins play. "The version showing at the Prince Edward Theatre is much closer to the original sombre story by Pamela Travers (1899-1996) than to the sugary Walt Disney film of 1964."

Danny Ocean scams off $40 million, vampires suck in 16. It was a good weekend for Warner. Not only did Ocean's 12 do well, but The Polar Express demonstrated some strong staying power to make up for its tepid opening. Of course, Warner will need many serious successes to make up for Alexander, which had another mammoth drop-off and will die below $40 million, despite a budget larger than the Gross National Product of Estonia.

Subway gunman Bernard Goetz has filmed scenes for a low-budget horror movie in which he plays a gun-toting nutritionist to vampires.
  • People who have seen the rushes say it is likely to become the Citizen Kane of films about gun-toting vampire nutritionists.
  • You know, when I graduated from college we never really considered the possibility of "vampire nutritionist" as a career choice, which I would have done, especially if I knew they were allowed to pack some heat. You kids today have so many more choices.
