Neal Boortz talks about this a lot. This erosion between well-laid out powers of immenant domain and handing the power of local government to those who make politcal contributions- it's not a good thing.

Erm, lots of words, but I'm against it.

Considering that wealthy people use more and better land per capita than poor people, city counselors should be targeting the Gates, Buffetts and Albrechts in their communities! I'm thinking that's not going to happen...

Tom Cruise rises from the dead.
  • He seems to be completely unaffected by his drowning and subsequent resurrection, except for a sudden insatiable appetite for brains.
  • Theologians and scientologians are discussing the religious ramifications of the miracle, although scholars at the University of St. Thomas the Apostle are doubtful.
  • Meanwhile, George A. Romero is in talks with Cruise about the movie rights.

Lohan takes a diva detour --- Submitter wrote: "Two great things about this article: 1) It shows what a pain-in-the-ass diva Lindsey Lohan is. 2) It details that she had a 12-minute cooling down period in the bathroom afterwards. It may not be, but that sounds like a great euphemism for 'did several lines in the bathroom.' Otherwise, it’s just plain weird to mention how long she was in there."

A thought: isn't burning the only respectful way of destroying a worn flag? Who decides when a flag is "worn" and deserving of burning instead of protection when & if this amendment becomes the law of the land?
