Better yet, how 'bout YOU get a sense of humor.

Whadda think Othercrap is for? Stimulating Topical Discussion minus the humor, if so go visit Rush Limbaugh's site or go watch that fruit O'Reilly.

Scoopy gives us the best of both worlds solid news and a little humor on the side, and if your so anal about stupid crap like this...

(And did you honestly think she had a snowball's chance in hell of getting appointed?!? Seriously)

You need to go somewhere else for your daily dose of humor, news, info and most important of all naked chicks.

And that most defintely my friend is 'Nuff said.

Hey, second anonymous guy - thanks for the very nice words - much appreciated - but I think you probably overreacted. I think his comment was reasonable. He wasn't nasty, just expressing frustration that we're still talking about her, even though the joke is getting old.

I thought that, too, but the letter really made me laugh, because it was so damned close to what I imagined, so I linked it!!

Anyway - thanks again

I don't really have a problem attacking someone who is voluntarily in the public eye. Paris Hilton is fair game, for example.

But you can overdo it. Miers' has left the public stage, so I don't find the jokes funny anymore. I don't like kicking people once they're down.

Scoopy has discretion in what he posts, so I just thought I'd throw in my two cents. I agree that othercrap is that rare blog that combines humor, solid news, and a little naughtiness to boot. A read it a lot. It's a lot better than that Gawker/Wonkette crap, let me tell you.

The teaser for The Libertine
  • "Johnny Depp stars in The Libertine as the scandalously decadent John Wilmot, the second Earl of Rochester. The film follows the Earl's adventures in London, from his passionate romance with a young actress, Elizabeth Barry (Samantha Morton), to the writing of a scurrilous play which blisteringly and bawdily lampoons the very monarch who commissioned it, Charles II (John Malkovich), leading to the Earl's banishment and eventual downfall. Laurence Dunmore makes an assured directorial debut, creating a period atmosphere that combines the dark debauched underbelly of London with the allure and glamour of the Restoration court."
  • "The most controversial film of the year."

Sylvester Stallone will add Rambo IV to Rocky VI.
  • I'm still hopeful that they can cut the deals for Stop or My Mom Will Fire Another Round, and Rhinestone 2: The Wrath of Drinkenstein.
  • Do you think he's too old to do Kitty and Stud's Next Party?

Paris to play Zsa Zsa Gabor? The two women are vaguely kinda-sorta related. Of the entire score of marriages for the three Gabor sisters, they had only one child between them - a daughter from Zsa Zsa's marriage to Conrad Hilton.

I think you must have Google Safe Search set to on.

When I click on that link, I still get lots of naughty pictures.
