Mp3 of Nick Saban. This is the clip that has landed him in some hot water over the pase few days.
He calls LSU fans "coon-ass." By the way, in this context "coon-ass" is NOT a racial slur. It fact, you'd use it to refer to white guys, as far as I know, although I suppose it could be people of any race as long as they are good ol' boys and talk Cajun, y'betcha.

The Beatles' Legendary Rooftop Concert at the Apple Building, 3 Savile Row.
Wikipedia summarizes: "The original concept for the Let It Be film project called for the documentary to end with a live show, the first live public performance by the band since the end of their last tour, on August 29, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. However, agreeing on a format for the live show proved problematic. Paul McCartney suggested playing a small club, like the Beatles had in the early days. John Lennon suggested an overseas location such as Africa. Ringo Starr held out for staying home in England. George Harrison showed little enthusiasm for any live performance at all. After failing to agree on any other venue, the band settled for an unannounced concert atop their own building, Apple's headquarters. The Beatles, accompanied by Preston, performed on January 30, 1969 - intercut in the film with interviews of some rather surprised Londoners near the Apple headquarters as the music blasts out from the roof. The performance and the film close with the police arriving and shutting the concert down."

Stuart Smalley has told Democratic party officials that he will run for the U.S. Senate from Minnesota in 2008
It was the funniest thing he has said since the 1970s

Franken's move was greeted enthusiastically by Mr. Bean, since it vacates the all-important #2 spot for the world's least-funny comedian, behind Carrot Top.

Hugh Grant's Girlfriend Jemima Khan Pulls A Britney While Leaving Limo
"Hugh Grant's socialite girlfriend Jemima Khan has undergone a raunchy makeover, and marked the occasion on Tuesday night by flashing her genitalia on a night out in London."

Hey, where are the pictures? I'll even look at a picture of Hugh Grant to see that.

"Men might protest when they're dragged along to the latest 'chick flick' but really they enjoy romantic movies almost as much as women"
Actually, if you read the write-up, it says nothing of the kind. "Women rated the movie at about six (out of seven) but men rated the film at about 4.8 which is much higher than people would have guessed." In other words, movie which women find wonderful (6 out of 7, rounded to three and a half stars on an Ebert-style scale of four) are considered just OK by men (4.8 out of 7, rounded to two and a half stars). It seems to me we already knew this!

I don't agree with the common wisdom that AskMen.com is created by gay guys, but it is a little suspicious that they picked Liza Minnelli #1

Al Gore: Nobel nominee
Well, that's only fair, considering that Gore invented the Nobel Peace Price and is known as the father of Norwegian independence. ("Nobel" is the Norwegian word for "gore.") You wonder why it took this long for him to be considered.

Super Bowl mania: The Peyton Manning "mooning" incident
Just a reminder that Peyton wasn't always so clean-cut

"Peyton Manning decided to pull down his shorts and sit on Dr. Naughright's head and face. As Naughright described it in a deposition entered into the court record: 'It was the gluteus maximus, the rectum, the testicles and the area in between the testicles. And all that was on my face when I pushed him up. ... To get leverage, I took my head out to push him up and off.'"

By the way, Peyton was only 19 or 20 when the incident happened. The lawsuit was not about the incident, but about his (allegedly) inaccurate account of it in a book called "Manning: A Father, His Sons, and a Football Legacy." She was awarded $300,000.
