More back-and-forth about the love scenes between Sienna Miller and Hayden Christensen.
The film's director says the rumor is utter nonsense, but the accusers are sticking by their story.

One more insider says that Factory Girl is utter bullshit
More important, it's just not a very good movie. It is rated 5.7 at IMDB, but their top 1000 voters rate it only 4.7. (The top 1000 have no axe to grind. The general population often includes shills, easily identifiable because they write an obsequiously glowing review for one film, then are never heard from again.) Here are my thoughts.

The Weekend Warrior's box office analysis for the upcoming weekend
This should be the last week of the period when the studios dump all their losing product on us. Unfortunately, it should also be the WORST week of that period. The Super Bowl weekend is always one of the weakest of the year for the film industry, and there's no reason to expect any deviation from that this year, since the usual Super Bowl Weekend Formula is being applied: mediocre horror film versus mediocre romantic comedy. Warrior expects the top twelve to top off in the $73m-$74m range. Although the two films are in the 1-2 slots, there's no enthusiasm for them. End of story.

MPAA to increase transparency, objectivity in ratings system
Maybe

"For the first time in its 38-year history, the group that operates the system plans to make its ratings rules and regulations public. It will also describe the standards for each rating, and detail the appeal process."

My Boring Ass Life » Silent Bob Picks His Top Ten Films of 2006
If you would expect him to assemble a list of nothing but fanboy and stoner films, you'd be wrong. It is an electic list which is as thoughtful as any other I've seen, and he presents his case in an entertaining manner.

The Pirate Bay's REAL Plan B? The FreeNation Foundation goes online
Some of the people who got involved in the Pirate Bay quest to buy a nation realized that there is much more to freedom than circumventing intellectual property laws. They want to start a whole new nation based on principles of ... I guess you would say extreme libertarianism. They liken themselves to the founders of Plymouth Colony, for example, in that they seek to escape repressive laws with which they disagree.

Hope it works out better than Pitcairn's Island.
