She was stripped to her underpants, measured for a coffin, and told that all the others had been sent home!

Video clip: Lucy Liu nude and Carla Gugino nude
It's a creepy lesbian vampire sex scene from Rise: Blood Hunter, which will come out in June. Quality is not good, but you can't normally expect DVD quality on a pre-release, so enjoy what you have, which is better than what you had yesterday.

Your Masters champ is Zach Johnson
Woods and Goosen tied for second, two back. It was a long, cold tournament in which nobody finished at par or better and there were several rounds in the eighties.

Cartoonist Hart, creator of 'B.C.,' dies
"Cartoonist Johnny Hart, whose award-winning 'B.C.' comic strip appeared in more than 1,300 newspapers worldwide, died at his home on Saturday. He was 76."

Apparently he was not beaten to death by a fat broad who mistook him for a snake.

Yanks lose on more A-Rod failures
With the Yanks down by two in the eighth and a runner on first, the big wimp walked, thus failing to hit a game tying homer and costing the Yankees the game. Also, he only hit one homer this game, and they have come to be dependent on his hitting two.

102-Year-Old Calif. Woman Hits Hole-in-1
She took out the big dog and let it hunt, ripping her drive a full 100 yards into the cup.

She must have had the wind with her. Normally, she lays up on that hole.

Late Night Political Jokes round-up
"Mitt Romney ... has been telling people he's a 'lifelong hunter,' but the truth is that he went hunting once when he was 15 years old and once last year, so by 'lifelong' he means he went twice. ... I think it's important to add, both of the times he went hunting, he shot an old man in the face ... so he's at least vice presidential material." --Conan O'Brien

"Mitt Romney stunned everybody by raising $23 million ... all in small donations. Apparently, he got one dollar from every Osmond." --Jay Leno

"Giuliani said he wants to make it clear he is not in favor of gay marriage. He believes marriage should be between a man and a woman, no matter how many times it takes them to get it right" --Jay Leno

"The 15 British hostages ... say they were well-treated and not tortured. The hostages said, 'Not once were we forced to eat British food.'" --Conan O'Brien

Madeline Zima and another woman topless in a promo for Duchovny's new Showtime series
It is also pretty funny. Better hurry up on this one, because it is not supposed to be there for several reasons. (1) YouTube has a no-nudity policy (2) This series is not even titled yet!

Madeline Zima was the daughter on The Nanny. She's the brunette with "no hair on her vagina," not the blonde in the early part of the clip.

Weekend Box Office Results for April 6-8, 2007
The big story: Grindhouse tanked. The long running time (thus fewer showings) and niche material doomed it. Its box office came in at about half of expectations. It finished a weak fourth, and may even drop to fifth when the official tallies are available.

I saw Grindhouse with my daughter and niece and we liked it. The girls liked both sections, but I was far more impressed with the Rodriguez half, which is just non-stop insanity. The Tarantino half is a lot of "you go, girlfriend" dialogue. The strength of the Tarantino section is Kurt Russell and some wild car chase footage which uses absolutely no CGI. The best material in the entire package, in my opinion, is the outrageous collection of faux-trailers for non-existent 1970s exploitation films.

The weekend overall was OK, with a single digit increase over last year, thanks to the strength of the carry-overs. 300, Wild Hogs, Meet the Robinsons and Blades of Glory continued to rake in the big bucks, and each of them had a modest decline from last week (Percentages in the twenties to low thirties)

Firehouse Dog bombed miserably. It was in more theaters than Grindhouse, and took in about a third as much, thus falling some 40% below expectations which were already minimal.

After a slow Friday, Hoax pulled in some pretty decent numbers in limited distribution, and ended up in a close battle for first place in the category of "average revenues per theater."

ESPN'S Colin Cowherd "Borrows" M Zone Material
Submitter wrote: "Mainstream-media-vs.-blogosphere drama. In a nutshell, ESPN host presents a routine on his show that came straight off a college sports blog. Sports blog then wants credit. ESPN host tells them to piss off. ESPN host eventually apologizes and gives them credit. ESPN host then sets out on crusade to get his listeners to overload another sports blog, and threatens to make it a daily activity."

Two more stories to get the whole picture: ( 1, 2)
